A colorful depiction of a European-style waterfront shows several buildings with apparent Venetian architecture overlooking a calm waterway. In the foreground, there are a couple of moored boats, likely gondolas, adding to the serene and picturesque scene.
This painting is based on John Lovett's article "How to Overglaze in Watercolor". I don't use watercolor, only got the idea.
In this painting, the paper was coated with soft gloss gel. I used Gesso, Simple Pen, Acrylics, and Wash. Finished with a glaze of oil in the water and some gouache in the sky.
Comes with a size of 14 by 10 inches, created in Grumbacher watercolor paper 300.
